ACRE for breakfast at The Sterling Hotel on Wednesday, September 15 Panelists: In July, the Sacramento City Council voted to work with firms D&S Development and CFY Development, who proposed a $36 million project of 136 affordable units and retail shops on the 700 block of K Street. The other selection was a group headed by developer David S. Taylor Interests Inc., who will develop the 800 block. Their $46 million proposal includes 120 housing units, from market-rate to mixed-income, and retail shops. The D&S and Taylor plan was backed by the Downtown Sacramento Partnership, preservation groups, and a city-appointed committee of development experts. The committee cited proven track records of both teams working with adaptive reuse, historic and infill projects. Come hear about the plans from Mr. Miry and Mr. Youssefi on how their proposal will jump start the decades-long effort to revitalize Sacramento K Street. Wednesday, September 15 7:30
